About the Author

Mark P. Smith is passionate about science, both factual and fiction.

His love of science ranges from Archaeology to Theoretical Physics, while his enjoyment of SCI-FI covers all genres.

Influenced by the vast array of fictional works in Sci-Fi and Fantasy in both print and video, Mark was inspired to write his novel. Spending many a late night and early morning looking after his son, he began writing Theo Newton.

He lives in the North East of England with his family and Labrador called ‘Luna’. 

He studied in York in the early 1990's attaining a degree in Geography with Applied Environmental Science.

His other interests include distance running; having run the London Marathon on 3 occasions as well as a couple of Ultra Marathons. He is also passionate about whisky, particularly Scotch Whisky and he maintains a Whisky Website.

Theo Newton Destiny is his first completed book which has made its way to being available in print and e-book format.
